The RIAA curve accuracy:

When you are a DIYer, you also have the option to buy a little extra capacitors and match them better to the ideal values. This unit I have does have better matched capacitors than would be expected from random choice. -1 dB was at 10 Hz and variations were within +/- 0.1 dB from 50 Hz- 20 kHz. Excellent result.

I see why there is a waiting time for this preamp – it is superb sounding, way beyond its price may suggest. The build guide is easy to follow and crystal clear. I built the PP-4 with the Muffsy PSU and it worked perfect from the beginning.

Built the preamp with the power supply. Works first time no problems.
Sounds great on standard settings but will adjust input impedance and gain for fun. The service from Skrodahl was excellent and very generous.
